This Privacy Policy explains what information Syncovi collects, how we use it, and your rights around it. By using Syncovi, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information — your name, work email, and company name when you sign up
  • Usage data — time-off requests, balances, and approval history you and your team create in the app
  • Billing information — handled entirely by Stripe; Syncovi never stores your card details
  • Technical data — browser type, IP address, and basic usage logs used for security and performance

2. How we use it

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate and deliver the Syncovi service
  • Send transactional emails (request submitted, approved, denied)
  • Process payments through Stripe
  • Respond to support requests

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it to third parties.

3. Who we share it with

We share your data only with the third-party services that power Syncovi:

  • Vercel — hosting and infrastructure; processes IP addresses and request metadata
  • Supabase — database and authentication
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • EmailJS — contact form message delivery
  • PostHog — product analytics and usage tracking

Each of these providers is bound by their own privacy and data security commitments.

Authorized Syncovi personnel may access your workspace data when necessary to investigate technical issues, diagnose service problems, or fulfill a support request. Such access is limited to what is reasonably required to resolve the issue and is governed by internal data handling policies.

4. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we will delete your data within 30 days unless we are required by law to retain it longer.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Ask us to delete your data

6. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for login sessions to function. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in encrypted databases.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email. Continued use of Syncovi after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
